Oglebay Resort and Conference Center is a beautifully landscaped, 1750 acre public resort, studied by planners worldwide as the only self-supporting public, municipal-owned resort in operation.

The National Training Center for Public Facility Mangers at Oglebay has over 50 years of experience in hosting and operating management schools for municipal employees. The first class facilities at Oglebay provides the perfect venue for nine different nationally recognized educational programs that National Recreation and Park Association presents or cooperates on. Just some of the highly demanded NRPA educational programs at Oglebay include; NRPA Directors School, NRPA Green School, and Park & Recreation Maintenance Management School. The facilities at Oglebay provides meeting space to accommodate groups of up to 400 and the meeting rooms can be configured in a classroom or roundtable configuration.

The Wilson Lodge at Oglebay has just undergone a $15 million transformation, adding 59 deluxe rooms and remodeling the existing 212 rooms. It offers fine and casual dining, an indoor pool and a new 5000 sq. ft. spa. Oglebay Resort features two championship golf courses, one classic design by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and the new Arnold Palmer designed course.
